Special Issue on Innovation & Generative AI in Journal of Product Innovation Management (JPIM)
Scope: The JPIM Special Issue “Communicating and Framing Innovation in the Era of Generative AI” aims to challenge prevailing assumptions and develop novel explanations on the antecedents, mechanisms, processes, and (un)intended consequences of the AI-mediated communication of innovation across all NPD stages. Quantitative, qualitative, mixed-methods, and conceptual work at various levels of analysis (e.g. individuals, teams, firms, industries, and/or ecosystems) are equally welcome.

Der Mini-Track sucht konzeptionelle und empirische Beiträge dazu, wie Deep-Tech-Ventures unternehmerische Ökosysteme durch wissensintensive Kollaboration transformieren, entlang strategischer, organisationaler und technologischer Dimensionen. Der Mini-Track „The Transformation of Entrepreneurial Ecosystems through Deep Tech Ventures" ist Teil des Tracks „Knowledge Innovation and Entrepreneurial Systems" und widmet sich der Frage, wie Deep-Tech-Ventures (u.a. Startups in den Bereichen KI, Robotik, Space Tech, Quantencomputing, Halbleiter und Biotechnologie) unternehmerische Ökosysteme durch wissensintensive Kollaboration transformieren. Der Track lädt zu konzeptionellen und empirischen Beiträgen ein, die damit verbundenen strategischen, organisationalen und technologischen Dimensionen untersuchen. Die Einreichungsfrist ist der 15. The course aims to introduce students to the leading concepts and current discussions in gender, diversity, and inclusion research with a particular focus on those that are shaped by and relevant to the contemporary societal changes, developments, and global challenges.
The course is structured in two blocks. In the first block (in June, online) students will be introduced to relevant concepts, theories, management practices, and ongoing debates in this field of study. Based on this and students’ preparation during the summer months, students will present their insights and (if applicable) their research ideas in the second block (in September, in person in Vienna).

This course will provide participants who have basic skills in statistics and econometrics with an introduction to current core methods used in the analysis of observational, experimental, and quasi-experimental data.
